dear friends,

the idea for this project is simply to create a collage of footage from people around the world that is in some way related to this unique situation we have been through of quarantine, isolation,  social-distancing, and lack of mobility.

it can be a film of anything that has helped you through this in some way - something meaningful to you, 
something that has given you hope and courage in adjusting to the situation.

even though i made a video of walking through the forest, this was not intended to be a cue for the direction of this video - sure, feel free to use nature, but it could also be something totally different, like the view from 
your city-apartment, the face of your grandmother on a computer screen, doing daily chores, soothing images 
of the ocean, playing with your kids… whatever has boosted morale in your getting through these 'troubled times’.

if you decide to participate in this collage-video experiment, you agree to upload a minimum of 20 seconds - and a maximum of 30 seconds video to this website.

you assert that you are fully responsible for the content that you provide, and that any potential infringement  that may arise from you borrowing copyrighted material, is your sole responsibility.

you also give us complete creative freedom to use the submitted footage as we see fit within the video, and you accept that we may or may not end up using your footage in the final collage.

once we have reached 500 submissions, my son thomas and i will attempt to put together an atmospheric account of your collective corona-virus experience…it could be a thing of beauty.
